Shabbat shalom from a sunny Tel Aviv!
Reach out to your community and its leaders – to schools, churches, synagogues, youth movements, and other institutions. Encourage them to encourage others – friends, students, teachers, congregants, etc. – to photograph themselves holding “We Remember” signs.
They should then upload these photos directly to Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram with the hashtag #WeRemember or email to email@example.com.
Look at my gorgeous friend Hanna wearing one of my t-shirts called ”Made in Israel”! Want one? Order here: Enough Is Enough Store
Many other designs, styles and colors for men and women available as well, all by yours truly. International fast delivery, good prices and great quality from for instance American Apparel. Let’s show the BDS that their boycott isn’t working, and look great at the same time! A win-win if you ask me!
On this Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year, when all of Israel comes to a standstill, people are enjoying a day off, no cars or buses are running and the streets are filled with kids on their bikes – on this Yom Kippur, when we, whether religious or secular, are enjoying a day of silence and reflection, a day of peace and quiet, I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, all the men and women who are tirelessly working day and night to protect our country, our borders and our citizens. They never rest, not even on Yom Kippur, and they are the reason why this day, and the other 364 days of the year, are mostly safe and quiet for us and our beautiful Jewish State.
Today is the holiest day of the year, but also the day with the highest security, especially in Jerusalem. So remember, it’s not like the terrorists took a day off from hating us or wanting to kill us – it’s just that our security forces are working harder than ever to protect us. We might not always see them or hear them, but trust me, they’re there.
So once again, thank you for watching over us: Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Israel Police, Civil Guard, Border Police, Shabak, Mossad, Aman, Magen David Adom, Israel Fire and Rescue Services, Home Front Command, Unit 669 and many others. You guys and gals truly rock ❤️
